Forecasa makes it easy to connect with your CRM and other tools using Zapier. With Zapier, you can automate workflows like adding new Forecasa companies into your CRM, keeping records in sync, and more—without writing any code.


Step 1: Access Your Forecasa API Credentials

  1. In the Forecasa app, go to Account → Integrations.

  2. Locate your API Key and User ID (these are unique to your account).

    • Example:

      • API Key: xxxx-xxxx

      • User ID: 12345

  3. Copy these values—you’ll need them to authenticate Zapier with Forecasa.

🔒 Keep your API key secure. Anyone with this key can access your Forecasa data.


Step 2: Connect Forecasa in Zapier

  1. Log into your Zapier account.

  2. Search for the Forecasa app in Zapier’s app directory.

  3. When prompted, paste in your API Key and User ID from Step 1.

  4. Zapier will test the connection. If successful, Forecasa will be available as a trigger or action app in your Zaps.


Step 3: Choose Your CRM

  1. In Zapier, create a new Zap.

  2. For the second app, choose your CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or another Zapier-supported CRM).

  3. Select the workflow you want—such as:

    • When a new company is added to a Forecasa list → create/update a record in Salesforce.

    • When a property is updated in Forecasa → update a contact in HubSpot.


Step 4: Build Your Workflow

  1. Select a Trigger in Forecasa (e.g., "New Company in List").

  2. Select an Action in your CRM (e.g., "Create or Update Record").

  3. Map fields from Forecasa to your CRM fields (e.g., Company Name, Address, Contact Info).

  4. Test your Zap to confirm data flows correctly.


Step 5: Activate and Automate

  1. Turn your Zap on.

  2. From now on, Forecasa and your CRM will stay in sync automatically.

  3. You can build additional Zaps for other workflows, like notifying your team in Slack when a high-value property is added to Forecasa.


Example Workflows

  • Forecasa + Salesforce → Keep Salesforce updated with new companies in Forecasa lists.

  • Forecasa + HubSpot → Add Forecasa company details directly into HubSpot pipelines.

  • Forecasa + Pipedrive → Track Forecasa property insights alongside deals.


Troubleshooting

  • If Zapier cannot authenticate with Forecasa, confirm your API Key and User ID are correct.

  • Make sure your Forecasa account has the right permissions for integrations.

  • Contact Forecasa Support if issues persist.
